ThenewseriesisgoingtobeentitledTheTowerII:DeathMessageandisbasedonKateLondon’sbrilliantsecondnovelofthesamename.ItisbeingadaptedbyscreenwriterPatrickHarbinson(Homeland,Fearless,24,ThenewseriesisgoingtobeentitledTheTowerII:DeathMessageandisbasedonKateLondon’sbrilliantsecondnovelofthesamename.ItisbeingadaptedbyscreenwriterPatrickHarbinson(Homeland,Fearless,24,ER)andproducedbyhiscompanyWindhoverFilmsandproductioncompanyMammothScreen.TheseriesopenswithLizzie(TahirahSharif)returningtoFarlowstationwhereherbossandformerlover,DIKieranShaw(EmmettJScanlan),partnersherwithArifJohar(MichaelKarim).TheirfirstcallistoadomesticviolencecomplaintagainstMarkBrannon,whoisaccusedofbeatinguphisgirlfriend,GeorginaTeel,andterrorisingtheiryoungdaughterSkye.LizziepersuadesGeorginatotellthetruthaboutwhatBrannonhasdonetoher,enablingLizzieandAriftoarresthim.However,oncethecasegetstocourt,Lizziefindsherselfcross-examinedonthestand,leavingthewholecaseonaknife-edge.”SarahknowsthatFeddenhashandedheranimpossiblechallenge,butshethrowsherselfintoitwithtypicaldeterminationandthoroughness.And,gradually,perhapshelpedbythefactthatshetoowasateenagerofTania’sagebackin1997,shebeginstouncovercluesthatpreviousinvestigationshadoverlooked.Attheendofthefirstepisode,Sarah’sinvestigationstakeafurthertwist,whichmeanssheandLizziecrosspathsagain等候值有点高，坚持看了两个小时，开头还是挺惊艳的，有权游的感觉，后面就觉得烦复了，应该和之前看过剧场版关系不大。主要是这几个英雄，大家都挺熟谙了，明知道最后是要聚在一起的，前面的铺垫未免太长了些。以及，导演剪辑再牛逼也改变不了故事线本身的局限吧，三个箱子五个石头啥的，真的没惊喜了。和《守望者》带来的惊艳感，差了不止一星半点。不过，导演自己的风格得以全数的保留和展示，这点应该满足了大部分粉丝吧。事实证明，暗黑阴郁风格行得通，前提是人物和故事线立得住，导演才有发挥空间，否则，还不如自杀小队2那种爆米花带来的爽感更吸引观众。详情
